Choosing the perfect slippers

Slippers seem simple, but there are differences. Here's what to look out for:

Material
- EVA/rubber: Light, water-resistant, perfect for beach/pool
- Leather: More luxurious, moulds to your foot, less suitable for water
- Textiles: Comfortable, quick-drying

Sole thickness
Thicker soles give more cushioning and are nicer for longer walks. Thinner soles are more compact to carry.

Straps
- Flip-flops: Classic, minimalist
- Slides: Wide strap across the foot, easy on/off
- Sandals: More support, also for hiking

Choose size
Slippers tend to fall slightly larger. If in doubt between two sizes, choose the smaller one. Your toes and heel should just fit on the sole, not hang over it.

Frequently asked questions about slippers

For the beach, you want flip-flops made of water-resistant material such as EVA or rubber. Cool Shoe Corp slippers are perfect for this: they are light, dry quickly and have a good grip on wet sand. Plus, they just look cool!

Cool Shoe Corp slippers fall normal to slightly roomy. I recommend ordering your normal shoe size. If in doubt between two sizes, choose the smaller one. Also check the size chart on the product page.

Sure! Many people wear slippers every day in summer. Then choose a model with good foot support and a comfortable footbed. Slides with a wider strap often give more support than classic flip flops.

Rinse them with clean water after use in salt water or swimming pool (chlorine). Let them dry in the shade, not in direct sunlight. Rubber and EVA slippers can be cleaned occasionally with a little soap.
